Anti-Counterfeit Labels for Supplements and Nutraceuticals

The fakes move fastest here. The packaging is simple, the margins are good, and a marketplace listing looks the same as yours.

The problem

What you are defending against

Fake supplements rarely start with a copied factory. They start with a seller putting your label on something cheaper, or a distributor selling old stock as new. Both are packaging problems first.

Your customer cannot tell the difference. A supplement bottle has no serial number and no feature to check. You find out from a bad review.

A security label fixes that. It will not stop a determined forger, but it gives your customer, your distributor and a marketplace something they can check.

What we recommend

Tamper-evident VOID labels

Seal the cap or the carton flap. A VOID seal proves nobody opened, diluted or refilled the bottle between your plant and the shelf, which is the accusation that damages a supplement brand most.

Specifications

Features worth specifying

  • VOID release pattern across the cap seal
  • Holographic layer for visible brand authentication
  • Serial numbering, so each unit is individually traceable
  • QR code linking to a verification page
  • Micro-text carrying your brand name

Not sure which of these you need? That is a normal place to start. Every feature, and how each one is checked

Things that change the specification here

HDPE bottles are a difficult surface

Most supplement bottles are HDPE or PP, both low surface energy plastics that ordinary adhesive struggles with. Tell us the exact bottle material on the quote form, a VOID label tuned for carton will not behave correctly on a polyethylene cap.

Serial numbers are worth more than they cost here

If you sell through marketplaces, individual serials let you trace a counterfeit listing back to the batch and the distributor it came from. That is how the leak gets found.

Label real estate is tight

Supplement packaging is already crowded with regulatory text. A security seal on the cap or carton flap usually works better than competing for space on the main panel.
